Hello everyone, so I’m not sure how the weather is whilst this is posted but during the week we had some beautiful warm weather in East Yorkshire.
I woke up and the sun was shining I had a spring in my step and although I was dressing for work, I wanted to wear something I felt confident and comfortable in. Anyone who works with children knows the difficulties in wearing skirts and dresses (never bend!) So I always think midi skirts are a great way to feel great and not end up flashing.
So for work today I decided to wear this gorgeous midi skirt from a fantastic shop in Hull called Tessies. (They have a website too- see link below). It’s a beautiful pattern that can easily be paired with lots of different tops.
Today I pair it with my bumble bee primark shirt and H&M hat. I actually forgot I had this hat and found it when clearing out a wardrobe. Don’t you love it when that happens?
What I wore;
Patterned skirt – Tessies
Shirt – Primark
Sandals – Matalan
Hat – H&M
So that’s what I wore to work this week! I must say I never thought in a million year I’d be making time at 7am to take photos of an outfit, but I’m really enjoying getting back into blogging and just loved this outfit!
Working in education can be a stressful and time consuming job, but it is absolutely a worthwhile career. I love teaching and having a job were I can be create and inspire young minds. However in a job like this it is important to make time for yourself and the things you love. So beginning my blog is me finding my feet outside the workplace and I’m enjoying every minute!
Much love x
