Revamping your old wardrobe

Hello everyone, and a happy Thursday to you. Today I’m showing you a recent little project I did over the weekend to revamp a old jacket that I had.

This jacket is an old primark jacket that I bought when I was a size 22, now being a 16 it means that it looks great oversized, however I wanted to change it up a bit so looked to Pinterest for inspiration.

With embroidery being everywhere at the mo and florals always being a favourite of mine, I went into EBay and bought this pack of 10 floral patches for £4.39 including postage.

You will need;

  • Patches to use
  • Iron
  • Clothing to stick them too
  • Tea towel

First of all place your patches is different areas to get an idea of where you think you might want them.

Next you need to place the tea towel over each patch and hold your iron on for roughly 30-40 seconds. Lift and check, then if you need more place it on for a little longer.

And there you have it ! Very simple but successful way to upcycle your old clothing. If you have enjoyed this post and would like to see more projects like this please comment and let me know, or if you have done some upcy long that you think I may like send me your links!

Much Love x

On a little side note here is a picture of me and my friend Jake taken recently. He said he’d be mad at me if I didn’t post a picture of us on my blog 😅
