Trinity market Tea Shop

Hello again everyone on this early Monday morning. Today I am bringing you a review of some loose leaf teas I have been kindly sent by ‘The Tea Shop’ in Hulls ‘Trinity Market’.

Trinity Market is Hulls oldest covered market and has a range of different shops selling everything from soaps, vintage clothes and records to food and of course tea.

The tea shop is a fab little shop that sells over 100 loose leaf teas as well as gift and teapots. They also have a range of Hull related items for sale which is great with us being City of Culture for 2017. You can also order their stock online here:

So here are the teas with they sent me.

Marzipan and Pistachio

This is a dark tea with a very dark colouring and has a strong taste with hints of a nut taste. This was my partners favourite.

Orchid and Rhubarb

This tea is weaker in colouring but certainly not in flavour. It is a refreshing taste with the hints of different fruits coming through. A great all round tea.

Red Berry

This was my favourite tea of the three. As you can see from the bright red/ pink colouring it’s certainly a berry drink. With strong fruity taste it is a perfect summer drink. I actually could imagine have this tea over ice would be very nice.

Over all, the three teas tried were all very nice and I would certainly recommend them if you fancy trying something different or want to treat you or friends and family. Price wise they are good value and well worth it for high quality tea.

I have also done a video review of this on my YouTube channel if you want to check it out.

If you have any questions please feel free to drop me a message or pop to The Tea Shops website.

Much Love x

  1. We use her teas at urban 44 coffee lounge in Hessle, Marion recently put together our very own city of culture tea blend unique to us and is going down really well, always a great service and delicious teas.
