When you can’t afford the hair dressers.

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I had planned to write this post on Monday however my workload has been so manic recently and with two parents evenings this week I just haven’t had the time. So anyway here it is now. This weekend just gone I knew I was running low on makeup and needed to make a trip to my local boots. I then decided to treat myself to a few extra bits including some hair dye!

Loreal Casting Crème Gloss – Cherry Cola – £6.79 (buy here)

For a long time now I have been dying my hair at home and Loreal Casting Crème Gloss is my go to hair dye. It’s a semi permanent hair dye that comes in a large range of different colours for light and dark hair. It comes with easy to follow instructions, gloves and an amazingly smelling conditioner. Don’t get me wrong I love going to the hair dressers as much as the next person, but I just can’t warrant spending over £40 just to get my hair done. So for me I get a hair cut (when I remember) but use semi permanent in terms of colour.

Rimmel  Lasting Finish 25hr Breatheable in Light – £8.99 (Buy Here)

I always buy Rimmel foundation as I find that its easy on my skin and doesn’t bring me out in any unexpected blemishes. This is in the shade light, as I have mentioned in my blog before I am very pale so usually that’s the colours I have to go for. As far as I am aware this is a new foundation from rimmel but I have found it very practical and well matched to my skin tone.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Concealer –  £5.99 (Buy Here)

So once again in terms of Concealer Rimmel is always one that I have found has good coverage. This is in the shade Light Ivory. The great thing about Rimmel at boots is that they usually have an offer on whether its 3 for 2 (which it was today) or buy one get one free.

Rimmel London Brow this Way – £4.99 (Buy Here)

I am lucky in some ways that as I teenager I didn’t over pluck my eyebrows so they are still pretty intact. I don’t have to draw them in as much (which is a good thing because I am terrible at it.) This little kit is great if you are just starting out with your developing your brows and has two separate parts to it. The powder and the crème work together to ensure clear defined lines.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – £5.99 (Buy Here)

I’m am one of probably the small few who haven’t tried the make up sponges. So when deciding to treat myself for my birthday night I thought id try it out. So far with general day to day makup. So it will be interesting to see how it works for when I am using full makeup.

So that is everyone, Just a few little things I have bought from boots.

Are there any make up staples that you use?

What boots offers have you seen recently?

Let me know and if you have enjoyed this post please follow and check out my other posts.
