When to throw and when to keep.

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all having an amazing start to the year. With Christmas well and truly over I am definitely ready for a fresh start in 2018. Today I thought I would bring you an outfit that  I have fallen in love with, and talk about how I plan to sort and organise my wardrobe better this year.

Michael very kindly bought me this gorgeous floral dress from the New Look sale and I cannot stop wearing it. This is one of the types of outfit choices I am going to be looking for this year. Items that can be transferable from autumn/winter to spring/summer. I have always been a fan of midi length skirts and dresses (seriously its crazy how many are in my outfits posts… sorry not sorry). I just feel they are so easy to style with the different types of weather, I’m always conscious in the warmer weather, going bare legged but in midi’s I just don’t have that worry.

If you follow me on Instagram or know me in person you will know that my size tends to be pretty up and down. As we know clothes shops are a nightmare for consistency and I never really try things that only say a particular size. This dress for example is a size 14 and fits perfectly I also have new look dresses that are 18s and fit perfectly. (typical)Now that I have joined Slimming World.(I have a previous post on tips for Slimming World here) Iam hoping to loose weight over the next few months. So in terms of clothing I am looking for items that are transferable through a few size brackets. (like this dress I have worn today)

Another way I am going to sort my wardrobe this year is through Depop. In the past when I lost a lot of weight I got rid of all my size 22 and 24 clothes on Depop and it was a great way to earn a bit of extra cash to either save up or pay bills (lets face it I have a house to run).  My shop ishere if you’d like to have a look. My only thing I would say is be careful. I always pay through the app rather that paypal as I’ve had people say they never received items or saying they had paid when the haven’t.

Floral Midi Skirt – New Look  – was £29.99 now £6.00

Mustard Faux Suede Jacket – Primark – £25.00 (similar here)

Brown Ankle Boots – New Look – Old Stock (similar here)

What do you do to organise your wardrobe? Are there any key pieces you will be wearing? Let me know!

Much Love, Lizzie Florence x
