What do I do to relax?

Hey everyone, I hope your all having a fab weekend.

So in my last post I talked about what I would see as a perfect day. Today I am going to chat to you about some things that I enjoy doing in my spare time. Making time to relax is very important to me, me job is so hectic and it can be difficult sometimes to switch off from it all.

READING … sometimes its difficult to sit and read with a good book. It can be so tempting to pick up your phone and scroll through twitter or insta instead. What I have been doing is going to bed half an hour earlier than normal and reading my kindle in bed. I must say it’s definitely been easier to find the time to read since Michael bought me my kindle.

KNITTING … now I am by no means an expert at knitting, chunky scarfs are pretty much my forte. I would however love to learn how to knit other things. It was my old graphics teacher that taught me how to knit and it is a great way to relax.

WATCHING DOCUMENTARIES … I love documentaries, about all sorts of different topics, but particularly crime docs. I often find myself sitting through them on Netflix and all of sudden it’s been 5 hours.

COOKING … I don’t always love cooking but when in the mood its definitely something that I find enjoyable. Setting the table up nicely for tea and cooking a really nice meal for Michael and I.

PLAYING GAMES … Michael and I have a small collection of games and we love having games nights with others. A lot of our games are pretty obscure ones but are definitely great fun. There is a youtube channel called TableTop which reviews games and is a great place to find new ones.

BLOGGING … And lastly one of the main things I o to relax is blog! A lot of my friends who aren’t bloggers ask me isn’t is a chore writing blog posts twice a week, and how do you find the time. But honestly I enjoy it, I love editing and writing and until it starts to feel like its becoming a chore I will continue!
