My Favourite Decorations.

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you are well.

Christmas is getting nearer and nearer and I cant believe how quickly this year has gone. Next week is going to be a packed one for me with or school nativity that I am feeling very much under prepared for. On top of making Christmas cards, calendars, baking and generally have a fab time with the kids its going to be an interesting week.

So today I thought I’d get into the Christmas spirit by showing you some of my favourite decorations that we have in our home. Some have a special meaning to them and some are just really damn pretty but I love all of them none the less.

These little guys are two turtle doves that Michael and I bought when in Berlin. They had a special Christmas shop with hundreds of decorations and when we saw these it reminded us of Home Alone 2 so we had to buy them.

We have quite a few Nightmare Before Christmas tree decorations because it is one of our favourite Christmas films and over the years we’ve got quite a bundle now. We did have them on a separate tree however we have now places them on our main tree.

These little guys we’ve had for a few years now and we just think they are so cute! They aren’t all from the same place but we think they go really well together sat on out log draught excluder. We are on the hunt for a girl one to go with them so if you see one let me know!

Its definitely more exciting at Christmas when you are around children, and this year I am super excited to be spending Christmas Day with my gorgeous nephew Theo. And now that he is nearly two its definitely going to be lots of fun!

Not a typical post from me but I have enjoyed showing you some of my decorations. I imaging you’ll end up seeing some more in later posts this month.
