Gigs and Good Food*

Hello Lovelies,  I hope you are all well, I am taking positive steps everyday and that feedback that I received from my last post really helped so thank you all so much for that.

Today I thought I would tell you about a fabulous night that I had on Wednesday (school night I know!) curtesy of the lovely people at Princes Quay. About a month ago I was contacted asking if I wanted some tickets to go and see The Vamps at the Bonus Arena and to grab some grub at Princes Quay beforehand. As music and food are two main loves of my life, I clearly wasn’t going to say no.

So obviously I asked my fabulous friend Beccar to come along with me. If you haven’t seen her youtube channel you should definitely check it out cause she has insane makeup skills and hair to die for her Youtube | Instagram

THE FOOD

So we parked up in Princes Quay and headed down to Pizza Express to fill up on their doughy fabulousness. Not knowing how busy it would be I booked a table on their online service and is seemed like a good idea as it was quite busy when we got there.

We both ordered the Strawberry Lemonade for drinks and it was a fabulous choice as it was refreshing and light. Food wise we both chose a Leggera as its a bit lighter with some salad in the middle of it. Beccar had the Chicken and I had the Goats Cheese.

The service was polite and quick which gave us more than enough time for some cheeky selfies before we headed off to Bonus for the gig.

CHEEKY CUT THROUGH

One of the perks to having food at Princes Quay before a gig or event at Bonus is their Pedestrian Walkway. On the bottom floor their is a walk through that literally brings you right outside the Bonus Arena and brought us right into the queue to get in!

If you love a good selfie or outfit picture as well there are at least three points as you’re walking through were you can take a pic with a great background.

THE GIG

Now I’m not going to lie I wasn’t a huge fan of The Vamps, not that I don’t like them I just didn’t think I knew many of there songs. . . turns out I did! We were on Level Three which is very high up but you still have a really great view. We got in pretty quickly and went and got ourselves a drink which was a very reasonable price of £3.00 for a medium (it was big)

The supporting act ‘New Hope Club’ were really good as well. I can always appreciate a band that plays instruments, and they all had amazing skills. Beccarr and I had a great time and we thoroughly enjoyed both bands.

So I would like to thank Princes Quay for treating me for the evening and Thank you Beccarr for coming with me!

Have you been to Bonus Arena yet? Where’s you favourite place to eat in Princes Quay?

Let me know!
