Hello Lovelies, I hope you are well.
It is finally half term and I am most certainly ready for a week of to relax, unwind and reflect. I cant believe we are heading into June and are almost half way through 2019 already. I feel like there were lots of things that I was hoping to accomplish this year and I am not quite sure how well I am doing on that front so thought I would share with you some things I would like to do before the end of the year.
READ FOUR BOOKS
Now to some people four books is nothing, but I have to confess I have never been much of a book worm. It usually takes me ages to get through a book because I usually choose to read at night and only manage a couple of pages at a time. So I’ve got 6 months to get through 4 books. I guess you better wish me luck!
TRAVEL TO ANOTHER COUNTRY
Michael and I have already been abroad briefly at the beginning of the year, but I definitely would like to go somewhere else before the end of the year. We have a few places on our bucket list so hopefully we can manage one before the end of the year.
GET HEALTHIER
I have been working hard on making healthier changes, but I am certainly one of those people who head for food in times of stress. But over the last couple of weeks I feel I have really turned a corner and am looking forward to feeling better about myself.
CREATE A LARGE PAINTING
This wasn’t something that was on my list at the beginning of the year, but I have felt the creative bug coming back the last couple of weeks and am desperate to start painting again. I bought some brushes yesterday and am planning on creating a few pieces this week whilst off.
DECORATE MY LIVINGROOM
Its the last room in our house that hasn’t been touched since we moved in 5 years ago. We liked it the way is was decorated so never felt the rush to do it but now its the last on the list. We would have had it done by now but we cant agree on a colour scheme so its something we need to crack on with.

Can you believe we’re half way through already! What do you want to achieve by the end of the year?
You look beautiful in these pictures! I love the skirt 😍 Good luck with your goals for the rest of the year! I’m definitely with you on wanting to get healthier. I’ve been trying to make small sustainable changes; at the start of the year I started cutting out fizzy drinks and now I only ever drink water or tea and I’ve lost half a stone just from this change!

This is such a great idea! I tend to be reflective throughout the year but you’ve inspired me to make my own version of this in terms of what I want to accomplish by the end of the year. I certainly relate to not being a quick reader! But I think that’s a perfect goal for me too to focus on reading a few more books before the year is over!

I love achievable lists because it’s not intimidating and hopefully this is all achievable for you. I need to decorate my bedroom, it’s been half-done since August!!
