Hello lovelies, I hope you are well.
We are half way through the week already and I am certainly ready for the weekend! Today I am bringing you a skincare post focusing on Cruelty Free Products from the Beauty Outlet in Princes Quay, Hull.
I was contacted by Princes Quay and asked if I would like to choose £30 worth of products that are cruelty free. I am someone who does tend to pick cruelty free anyway so was happy to jump at the chance to promote the cause. This week Princes Quay have got a ‘Plastic Pledge’ Exhibition on their bottom floor to celebrate World Ocean Day. So if you can try and go have a look at some point it looks to be very interesting.
THE PRODUCTS
SKIN ACADEMY PURE CLEANSING FACIAL WASH – £2.99
SKIN ACADEMY PURE CLEANSING MICELLAR WATER – £2.99
SKIN ACADEMY CLEANSING FACIAL SCRUB – £2.99
I am always on the lookout for new facewashes, I usually need ones that are fragrance free because my skin can be pretty sensitive. This one seems to be doing the trick and you only need a small amount which is great. The cleansing water has been working a treat also!
The facial scrub felt really effective and smells nice too, it is to be used twice a week whilst continuing to use the other products. I have only used this twice so far but I’m really hoping its going to help my skin.
7TH HEAVEN BLEAMISH CLAY MASK – 99P
7TH HEAVEN ARGAN OIL MUD MASK – 99P
I’ve used lots of these masks in the past and I have always been really pleased with how they have made my skin feel. These two in particular have really help my skin. At only 99p they are a nice cheap way to have a pamper session.
TECHNNIC MAN’S STUFFBEARD SHAMPOO – £2.99
So I hope it goes without say but this purchase was not for me. Michael was shopping with me at the time and whilst looking for cruelty free products we came across this and so I thought it would be good to choose a product that is just for males also. Michael said “It’s shampooerific (no really he said that) It has a nice smell to it and left my beard feeling soft as well as giving it shine.”
W7 ZEN SPA SPONGE – £3.99
This fabulous little sponge was reduced from £7.99 to 3.99 and comes in a few different colours. It cleanses and exfoliates and to be honest its pretty amazing, I have been using it for a week now and its honestly making my skin fill fabulous. And to top it off its latex free and eco friendly.
ST MORIZ DEVELOPING TANNING MOUSSE – 7.99
ST MORIZ TAN MITT – £2.99
Now I haven’t tanned in quite a while and my mitt had certainly had its day. So when I saw that St Moriz tan was cruelty free I thought it would be the perfect time to stock up again. These mitts have always been very reliable and I rarely end up with tan on my hands. The tan itself goes on just as easy as their other types and is a developer one. The longer you leave it on the darker you go. I don’t leave them on too long as I am naturally pale.
OVERALL
So overall there were definitely options to choose cruelty free over not. I am certainly pleased with my purchases and will definitely come back when these products run out. I’d like to thank Princes Quay for giving me the opportunity to promote cruelty free and eco friendly products.
