Enjoying the little things.

Hey Lovelies, it’s been a while!

My last post was just over two weeks ago, and I honestly did not mean for it to be that long. This time of year is always pretty hectic for a teacher, you’ve got end of year assessments, reports, summer fairs, sports days and if you are in EYFS if you could just try and fit in all your nursery visits too and that would be great!

So work has definitely been taking over the last couple of weeks but I have been enjoying it too. I get excited for my new class starting and I have began making peg labels and things which I also enjoy.

So when I have had time off from the craziness I have been enjoying the little things like catching up with friends, seeing my parents, cooking… stuff like that. I have also been enjoying taking long bubble baths with the Lush bubble bars. I usually only have time for showers but have enjoyed having a long soak and listening to music.

I’ve not been pressuring myself when out and about thinking ooh I should take an outfit post which has been nice. And I know that Michael has definitely preferred not being my photographer. If anyone wants to schedule in photo ops with each other let me know!

One of the things that Michael and I have been looking at is sorting our garden out this summer. We have a lot of different plants in our garden and it is becoming very hard to maintain so we are thinking of simplifying it. (any advice would be much appreciated)

  2. I know this feeling so well at the moment!

I’m just finishing up my NQT year and in between reports, planning, sorting out class lists, staff meetings… everything else has taken a back seat! It’s so frustrating, but I’m trying to look after myself as much as I can. I’m sure the summer holidays will be just filled with me re-building my life!

    Love those sandals 🙂
