New Halloween Netflix Picks

Lizzie Florence Halloween Netflix List

Hello lovelies, I hope that you are well. I am well into my week off now and safe to say I am starting to feel rested. It’s the 30th of October which means I am well and truly in the Halloween spirit now and have been looking out for the latest Horrors to watch this year.

Last year I posted my top Netflix picks for Halloween and so I thought it would be fun to do an updated one with some of my new favourite that you might want to watch. You can check out my original list (here) I have used most of the same categories with a few new thrown in for good measure.

If you like a Classic . . .

Jaws, I suppose I don’t need to tell you the plot for Jaws so there’s not really much to say about it. I find the cinematography and score fantastic and with brief moments of comedy to break the tension it is a fabulous watch.

If you like Thrillers . . .

Hush, now It’s been on Netflix for quite a while but you may have missed it previously.  its a great thriller about a deaf writer whose life comes under threat when a masked man tries to break into her property. She is home alone and needs to use instinct and cunning to survive.

If you like Sci-fi . . .

Annihilation, originally part of a series of books this film stars Natalie Portman. She plays a biologist whose husband goes missing on a mission and so she goes to find out what happened to him.

If you like a Slasher . . .

Happy Death Day, one that came out  a while back and I am thinking the sequel will turn up on Netflix soon. Its a clever twist on a teen slasher mixed in with ground hog day. As a girl wakes up on her birthday only to end up being murdered. When she starts to relive the day over and over again she has to figure out who the killer is.

  1. With Halloween being tomorrow and I have no plans to go out I’m definitely going to be checking out some of these movies. Jaws is such a classic I remember being so scared of that film as a kid. Hush sounds really great! X
