Girls trip that doesn’t require a hangover.

Hello everyone hope you are well,

Today I am writing a review of the Pizza Express that we have in Princes Quay in Hull. Me and the lovely Youtuber Becca (her channel)Spent the day shopping and hanging out at Princes Quay and we decided to grab some lunch at Pizza express. (can you believe Beccar has never been!)

THE RESTAURAUNT

So the Pizza Express in Princes Quay is located on the ground floor, however their is also access from the first floor. It is a good sized restaurant and any time I have visited I have never had to wait for a seat, however what is great is that if you go onto their website they have an online booking system which is really great and convenient. You will also find that they usually have discount offers on their website also, so its always worth looking before you visit!

The Price

So prices are typical of a chain restaurant like this one. Starters range between £4.00 to £7.00 depending on what you choose, which is definitely reasonable. Mains are set between £10.00 to £15.00 and there is a large range of pizzas and pastas available. Drinks are what you would expect and a bit extra if you are wanting something a bit special.

THE FOOD

STARTERS

So for starters I ordered the Bruschetta Originale for £5.70. I have tried a lot of Bruschetta’s in the past and I much say this was one of the best I’ve had. The bread was soft and baked to perfection, I literally cleared the plate. Beccar chose the dough balls as this was her first trip to Pizza Express but she new it was something she’d like. They are £4.25 and completely worth every penny.

MAINS

For our mains we both ordered the same which was the “Leggera Pollo ad Astra” This is part of the lighter menu which is under 600 calories. It is a chicken pizza with the center cut out and replaced with a huge salad! This was my first time ordering this I was wondering whether it would fill me up but I was really surprised that it did. It was £10.00 ish I believe (I lost the receipt) I would definitely order this again.

DRINKS

For drinks they have a range of alcoholic and soft drinks available but as it was in the middle of the day we both ordered the Watermelon chill which is a juicy refreshing drink with a hint of mint. In the past I have ordered alcoholic drinks which are of a good size.

OVERALL

So overall it was a great visit and we really enjoyed our girls trip out. We had great food and great service without spending a fortune, and as I said earlier if you are planning on paying a visit it is always worth checking online to see if they have any offers on.

Have you been to Pizza Express before? Let me know what you thought!
